  • How long does it usually take?

    The time for the organization process depends on how unorganized and cluttered your space is and how many rooms or closets you have. Star Organizers is happy to do a free consultation and give you an estimate of how long it will take to get organized. Most people find that their bedrooms and closets can be fully organized in about five hours.
  • Do I need to be present while you work?

    You will usually need to be present for the majority of the time so that you can make the final call on what to consign, trash, or donate. Star Organizers will work with you and help you make these decisions, but we will never get rid of anything without your permission. It’s also important that you’re present so that you know where everything is and can easily find it all after Star Organizers leaves.

    When organizing most kids’ rooms, depending on the age of the child, we typically prefer that the child is present and that the parents are in another room. Many times, parents can have an attachment to a child’s toys or clothes because they spent a lot of money on it. However, if the child doesn’t like the clothes or it doesn’t fit them anymore, you might as well get rid of it, because they won’t wear it.
